Update:

In case you haven't noticed, there is an additional child in our family photo. I would like you all to meet the newest member of our family. She is the pretty little 7 year old in the purple dress. "Eloise" now has a little sister. We have decided to call her, "Amelia Bedelia".

Eye Poking Update.....

Well... My eye is feeling better now(see previous post if you're confused) and I can actually see the finished product because I finally caught up on my rest. So here it is. This is the front of the shopping cart liner I made for Michelle's baby shower.
(the pink part on the bottom is just a box for display purposes.)

The ribbon straps on the front have Velcro so the toys can easily be changed.

There are two elastic pockets on each interior side.
You can see the leg holes as well from the inside.

There are three pockets across the back.

Well we made it to the shower and still have both eyes and all of our hair. LOL!

Michelle's response made it all worth while..... So maybe just maybe ...... Anna might still have a chance of getting a special gift whenever it's her turn to have a shower!

What a lucky baby ~ and Mama! You did a beautiful job, and it's such a CUTE cover! Is there an etsy shop in your future? =)

Egghead- The pattern is McCall's Crafts, M5409. There were also several others at the fabric store to choose from.
Michelle- I would love to do something fun like open an etsy shop, but unfortunately the only thing I see in the near future is homework......but who knows.....I often get a wild hair and bite off more than I can chew... without smacking!

Riya that looks great! Congrats on the pattern reading! Things like that keep my UFO (unfinished objects...haha!) bin full! ;)

P.S. My aircraft mechanic husband and I think your "eagles may soar...but weasels don't get sucked into jet engines" quote is hilarious!

Riya thank you for posting the pattern number. I still think it is the cutest thing. I want one and I don't even have a baby, ha ha!

Very very cute. I'm preserving my eyesight by not tackling anything scarier than a straight line.
