Update:

In case you haven't noticed, there is an additional child in our family photo. I would like you all to meet the newest member of our family. She is the pretty little 7 year old in the purple dress. "Eloise" now has a little sister. We have decided to call her, "Amelia Bedelia".

A Crop Only A Gardener Could Love...

I honestly wasn't going to post about this scrawny mangled produce,
but my daughter insisted that I share this "beautiful" display of nature with you all.

Personally, I'm a little more excited about these guys.
"Eggplant Pirogue" here we come!

Home made onion rings, before hubby did his magic trick and made them all disappear!

We also enjoyed hot roast beef po-boys on fresh french bread.
This was hubby's, that's why it isn't "dressed".
He only likes roast, gravy, and cheese.

P.S. I never really gave my blog a theme, but it seems that most of my posts wind up being about food. I wonder if it's the Lord giving me a sign!?!
;-)

I am so excited about your harvest!!! I'm glad you posted about your veggies. And that sandwich and rings are making my mouth water...and I just stuffed myself at dinner. =}

How pretty your veggies look! You should always post about what you're growing...it's inspiring! :)

I love the look on Jenna's face! Tell her I said that them are the prettiest looking vegetables that I've ever saw!
