Today we got a lot accomplished. Our garage, back patio, and front porch are clean. We also weeded the front flower bed & edged the front & side yard. The best part of the day was when my dear hubby decided to tackle the broken brick path to my side porch. He has been avoiding it for a while due to the fact that the path is made of "Old Chicago" brick and we don't have any extras to match. He had to carefully remove the mortar without breaking the bricks which are delicate because they are so old. They are all cleaned and ready to re-set tomorrow. The only thing more pleasant than the sound of the hammer was the sound of Eloise serenading him as he worked! ;-)
P.S. We worked so hard today that I treated myself to waffles with blue berries, bananas, butter, pecans, and syrup for dinner ;-p

ok, I am coming over to hear Eloise play the violin, and I want one order of those waffles.....Holy roses Moses they look good.......only I will skip the healty blue berries and add choco chips to mine.....
