Can anyone give me an example of a grain?......
How about a protein?.......
We are going to walk over the big pink tongue and have a seat on one of the teeth....
We are now traveling through the intestines where the blood will pick you up and take you on a tour of the heart, lungs, bones, and skin.
We hope you enjoyed your adventure!
Whew that was a workout, but we had a lot of fun and so did the kiddies.
Be sure to stop by and visit for our next volunteer adventure. It will be a reenactment of the Battle of New Orleans at the Chalmette Battlefield in January. I'm sure We'll have plenty to post about. TaTa for now!
P.S. I can't wait till I'm finished with college and I can spend more time with the children and less time studying for exams. SIGH. ;-)

OMGosh that is soooooooooo COOL!! I want to go inside the Body Walk and sit on a tooth! How FUN is that project?!
Seriously, that is awesome! Did you all (teachers) create that or is it some traveling exhibit? Love the teeth chairs.
I want to go on the tour, too! That looks like so much fun! Great job on making learning such a fun experience!

It was fun Tiff. Sis. Jennifer will be volunteering today at her children's school.
Wvugrads-No we did not create the program. It is a traveling exhibit created by a local hospital and LSU.
Michelle-I'm not sure what you are trying to say in your post script about your word verification. Sorry my brain has been overloaded lately.
Blessings to all my dear friends out there!
