It's Finally Here......
Our long awaited cookbook is finally available to the public. For more info click on the "Cooking Up a Storm" thumbnail on my side bar. It truly is a beautiful statement of who we are. Sure there are recipes, but there is so much more in this book. If you decide to order one I know you will enjoy reading the testimonies of some of our people and some people we met durring our Hurricane Katrina adventure. I'm kinda slow~I just realized that your header is YOUR artwork! Beautiful! Do you have more to show? And I agree; the "distressing" is part of its charm.
Unfortunately all of my drawings and other paintings were all completely destroyed. I haven't had any free time since Katrina. Between rebuilding our church and homes and going to college and just plain old life I stay pretty busy. The bird on my side bar and a few cakes are the only artwork I've done since the storm. Things are finally starting to get back to normal around here so I'll have to make some time to paint one of these days....maybe over the Christmas holidays? ;-)
