....Well I have to give credit where credit is due. I was just about to give up and let my dearest Tiff give it a shot when my valiant husband stepped in and fixed my blog in an instant. Doesn't he look valiant with that crown on? ;-) Isn't my new background lovely?!? I think it's simply smashing.....till I get tired of it, but that isn't a problem... now that I know that my hubby can change it for me.

Visiting & Being Visited
My apologies for being slack concerning this blog! I have been a little busier than I thought I would be this time of year. My cousin just had a major change in life plans and has decided to move down here. She has been staying with me for almost two weeks now. I have been driving her around trying to get her situated (job interviews etc...) Another reason I haven't posted is my Mother. She went in to the hospital late Sunday night and is still there. The doctors are pumping her full of meds, but really aren't sure what is causing the problem. We sat by her bed for most of the day yesterday. I studied for my PRAXIS II and my daughter did her Summer Bridge activities and read stories to her Gran. I informed everyone that I will be leaving town soon if they don't stop all of this! LOL! I don't know how much more I can take. My mother-in-law is doing ok she just has to go to a lot of check ups due to the treatments she had to take for breast cancer, my father-in-law is recovering nicely from open heart surgery, my Father is being treated for kidney stones and a cyst on his kidney, and my Mom is in the hospital for God-only-knows what! Maybe I should be going to school for nursing instead of teaching! ;-p P.S. My daughter & friends recently won 1st place in our church talent show for their age group. The pics are on her blog.
This is my cousin.

Great News!
This Gal has just received word that she has been selected for a scholarship that will pay half of her tuition until she graduates. Many people (including counselors) told me not to worry about getting great grades. They said it's more important to finish quickly. I ignored their advice.I guess being O.C.D. paid off this time! LOL
